ABOUT US Diamonds in the Rough (DITR) was founded in 1997 as a women-only motorcycle club in Northern Virginia by women motorcyclists who enjoy the sport of safe riding and want to ride
with other women with the same passion for motorcycling. Members represent women from all walks of life. Friends & family members are invited to join as support members and attend various functions.
DITR has chosen to affiliate with the American Motorcyclists Association because this organization defends the rights of all motorcyclists, and promotes the sport through sanctioned road and off-road racing. The AMA has an excellent magazine and website. At the
AMA headquarters in Ohio is the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
RIDING
Group rides* are scheduled all through the riding season. Members are encouraged to map out a favorite ride. During the winter months, activites are planned to keep everyone connected. |
MEETINGS
DITR meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm. We meet at Padrino's restaurant in Woodbridge, VA which is located across the street from Potomac Mills Mall and behind Bob Evan's
COMMUNITY
Each year, DITR gives back to the community by donating time and resorces to local charities. This year DITR chose to help Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit group dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness.
